Early and Late Club
BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL CARE
Dale House School offers care for children before school, after school, and in the school holidays. Clubs are run by our own team of well qualified, dedicated staff. This offers parents the flexibility and security of knowing that all children will be well cared for by established members of staff, who are qualified teachers or Nursery Nurses, and have been trained in Safeguarding, Child Protection and First Aid.
The Dale House Late Club and Holiday Club have received Quality Assurance Awards from Kirklees Early Years Service. A Gold Healthy Choice Award has also been awarded for snacks etc.
- 5 Star Hygiene Certificate
- Gold Healthy Food Award
The Early Club service runs each school day during term time. It opens at 8.00am and closes at 8.25am, when children are taken to their classrooms to be with their teachers from 8.30am. In Early Club each day children are served a drink (milk, juice or water) and a light snack such as toast. This will be served between 8am and 8.20am. The charge for this service is £2 per day and parents will receive a bill at the end of each month, as with Late Club fees.
The Late Club runs after school each day during term time only. Children are registered into the Late Club at 3.30pm and can be collected anytime before 6.00pm. Children staying after 4.45pm will be served a light snack and a drink of milk, juice or water. A charge of £5.50 per hour (or part hour) is charged for the use of this facility. Late Club fees are payable on a monthly basis. Bills are issued at the end of the month for which the charge applies.
Occasionally, due to unforeseen circumstances, parents may be unable to collect their child on time and have not been able to notify the school in advance. There is no need to worry in such circumstances. For our parents’ peace of mind, children who have not been collected by 3.30pm will automatically be registered into the Late Club. (Please note that the first hour fee will apply from 3.30pm, for however short a time).
